The debut album of the Guanaco trio, Bajo un mismo cielo (under the same sky) was released in 2023 by the label Shagrada Medra.

Recorded in 2022, at the iconic “Ion Studios” in Buenos Aires with the help of the incredible Alejandro Saro as sound engineer, the album documents the repertoire from the first period of the group. Mostly created during the strict lockdown of 2020, the repertoire reflects the shared love of the trio for the folkloric music of Argentina and includes many original compositions, as well as new interpretations of traditional and modern folkloric tunes by Argentine composers.

The album also features the beautiful guest bombo playing of Mariana Mariñelarena.

Launched as part of Shagrada Medra’s “La Hora Azul” listening cycle, the album can be found on all of the popular music streaming websites, as well as for digital purchase on Bandcamp.
